She was supposed to have dark green hair, but a rare genetic mutation caused her hair color to be the same as her brown eyes. Thus, she proudly uses the last name Eyes.Pre-ARR
Born and raised in the South Sea Isles in 1553 Sixth Umbra Era, her parents worked in agriculture (the exact type is unknown, whether fishing or farming).

Pre-ARRFiyaya have seen many adventurers travel by, usually White Mages and Black Mages. One day, she saw a large Roegadyn with shiny white armor accented with blue and gold. Her eyes glistened as she saw him sail by. The very stature made him look strong and leader-like, and she felt the urge to become one ever since.However, her parents disapproved of her becoming a Knight of Light as only the larger races were allowed, and the few that do were male. She accepted that she could never become one and would have to live her life in agriculture.One day at a market trade-ship, she saw another Lalafell Paladin and a girl on board, but they were about to set sail. Fiyaya ran towards the ship and, as it was leaving, hopped onto the rope hanging from the hull of the ship. She climbed up towards the quarterdeck, seeing the Lalafell Paladin in talks with the Captain through the Captain's Quarter, and stayed hidden on the deck as they set sail for Thavnair.That night, a storm hit. Seeing the sky turn red as Dalamud birthed Bahamut, Fiyaya, an untrained sailor, was cast overboard and eventually washed ashore in Thanalan. Waking up with only a general idea of her desires and remembering her name, she saw a Hyur-like being ^{[1] [2]} and heard a womanly voice say "Hear, Feel, Think." A grizzled peddler passing by saw her unconscious and decided to pick her up on his cart.¹ Fiyaya was created by the player as they started installing the game.

Fioa's is energetic, direct, indecisive, stubborn, picky, stingy, tomboy.
Fairly carefree and generally friendly to people around her.She can get fiercly tempered when she's or innocent people are in danger, yet somehow be able to maintain focus on the problem, which has got her into certain life-threatening danger if it weren't for Deus Ex Machina.Fioa is egotistical about herself, and likes being treated like a lady regardless of how she dresses. She is unable to accept defeat, and would heavy focus on winning the next similar challenge she faces.If she is defeated multiple times, she feels humiliated and takes it personally.Being a Lalafell she takes pride being a Paladin compared to other taller races. She believe from the day she woke up, that Paladins are a symbol of a group leader. She also doesn't carry around a shield to further prove her strength and will.She doesn't like dressing up in fashionable clothing that makes her look like a girly-girl. She likes to keep her outfit breathable and easy to move around in yet still have an identity of a lady. [Meaning she likes wearing things like skirts.]Despite all that, the time when you really see her acting very girly is when she is see long fluffy tails of a Miqo'te and will occassionally start playing with them regardless if the person is a stranger.Her best friend is the player and is very close like family. She plans to stick with him till the very end.
